Description
The easiest part of this costume was actually the mask, which I made using styrene and craft foam. I made the "fishscale" design on the sides of the mask with Gem-Tac glue and used the tip of a heated stylus tool to poke the perfectly round holes in the front.
The shirt and trousers for the costume were made using a spandex material. The leggings, gloves, and stomach armor were made using craft foam and a pink knit material edged with gray fabric trim. The shoulder and elbow armor were made out of cut sections from an 8" plastic Christmas ornament painted with pink and gray enamel. The sword I made by altering and painting a wooden bokken sword.
The only parts of the costume I didn't make were the boots, the Kirara doll, and the giant boomerang (the Japanese name for which I have forgotten.)

I would love to borrow the pattern for this...I'll give credit.
